Calm be thy sleep ! Altho to dust
Thy form we must consign
The Christians hope – The Christians trust
Through life’s dark circle was thine
Thy years were few – But mark’d with all
That Memr’y loves to keep
And those that mourn they early fall
Must long and sadly weep
Yet there’s a hope – A blessed one
To each sad mourner given
That she, they mourn, has now begun
Eternal life in heaven
